Me and my buddy are pretty solid poker players (amateur, but better than the tourists who only watch on TV), and we are going to visit Atlantic City on either Friday afternoon or Saturday during the day (maybe both). Chris comments in Atlantic City right after he lost in a Texas Hold-em Poker Tournament. After 5 hours of playing poker here he is seconds after losing. After losing, he stood up and stormed off not talking to anyone….He spent a few seconds just steaming and pondering his loss. Best answer: Answer by man_droneThe Taj Mahal and the Tropicana are the two places that I know of to play tournaments. Their websites tell you the details of each tournament each day (times, limits, type of game). I have played at the Tropicana and had a great time. The Taj has the biggest poker room in AC and is pretty nice.
